AVA INFERI To Support MY DYING BRIDE On 'Albion In Ruin' 20th-Anniversary Tour

AVA INFERI, the Portugal-based band whose lineup includes Norwegian guitarist Rune Eriksen (a.k.a. ex-MAYHEM guitarist/songwriter Blasphemer),will support U.K. doom metal veterans MY DYING BRIDE on their 20th anniversary "Albion In Ruin Tour 2011". The dates are as follows:

May 18 - Electric Ballroom - London, UK
May 19 - Manchester Academy - Manchester, UK
May 20 - Wulfren Hall - Wolverhampton, UK
May 21 - The Village - Dublin, IRE
May 22 - The Spring & Airbrake - Belfast, IRE

AVA INFERI recently filmed a video for the song "Majesty" in Bucharest, Romania with director Costin Chioreanu of Twilight13 Media. According to Rune, the clip is "an occult journey through nature, secret arts and magic." The video will make its online debut in the the coming weeks.

"Majesty" comes off AVA INFERI's fourth album, "Onyx", which will be released on February 14 (February 15 in the U.S.) via Season Of Mist.

AVA INFERI recently announced the addition of female bassist Joana Messias to the group's ranks.

The band will hold a CD-release party for "Onyx" on Saturday, February 19 at Side B Bar in Benavente, Portugal. The group will perform a lengthy set consisting mostly of material from the new CD.
